Redesign of Northanger Abbey book cover
The first novel of Jane Austen that she had written and the first one I've read is Northanger Abbey. And boy, oh boy, I love this book.
It is such a sarcastic book that laughs off popular at the time gothic novels! The Austen's wit is so remarkable and yet the story is so interesting and clever. I understood all of Catherine's dilemmas and fantasies.
The edition I have is pretty old and I like the way it looks but I wanted to make my own version of the cover. I decided to put a gothic building behind a silhouette of a young woman, that is enigmatic and somewhat flirty.
